August is a mystery month for us. We are due to check in with the VA for Dennis medical and then see what they say from there. The first appointment is on the 4th. His other appointments are just after his birthday (9/8) to the 15th of Sept. The results of these test will tell us if the Max GLX are still making the difference that we are hoping for.
We would like to start our adventure around the exterior of the U.S.A., however this last trip has shown us that we need to change our vehicle before heading out again. The motorhome that we currently have gets about 5 miles per gallon and we are not happy about that. We are going to do some looking around for a different motorhome and hope to sell our motorhome and travel trailer this month. So we will be going to Corvallis and then on to Portland tomorrow to go window shopping for ideas on what we want. Anyone who knows us very well knows that Dennis loves shopping and I hate it. (Well unless that it is shopping for fishing equipment - that I like!)So he is getting excited about going shopping.
We traveled to Honeyville, Utah and spent 5 days at the Crystal Hot Springs for the Hyde reunion.
We had a lot of fun playing in the water.
Then onto the Loveland Reunion in Lake Del Valle State park near Livermore, Ca. Where we spent a week in the surounding area and at the reunion. We had a blast getting to know our family members and enjoying playing games with them.
